HAPPY TRUCK DAY!
Truck Day is always a good sign that Spring Training is right around the corner. After being in Arizona for six weeks, Truck Day is a very welcomed sight as the regular season is right around the corner. The truck was loaded up today and it is already on its way to Seattle. It won’t be long until the Mariners are back for the home opener on April 8 against Oakland.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HERE’S AN AUTOGRAPH
It’s been a fun spring at the Peoria Sports Complex, and fans are enjoying it until the last out. Kids lined up along the warning track and got autographs from newest Mariners reliever Nick Vincent. What’s the best way to get a Major Leaguers attention? Be sure to make a sign that it’s your birthday!
DEPORTES UNION RADIO
It may be late in the spring, but international media is still coming out to check in with our guys. Diego Castillo with Deportes Union Radio arrived in camp today and checked in with Franklin Gutierrez and Felix Hernandez. Both players are very popular in their home countries so they take time to chat with reporters from Venezuela any time they come out.
